LC Electrical Services NE LTD were initially appointed to carry out an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) at industrial premises to meet insurance compliance requirements.

Following inspection and testing, several C1 (Danger Present) and C2 (Potentially Dangerous) observations were identified within the existing electrical installation, including ageing distribution equipment and non-compliant circuits. The client subsequently instructed us to complete all recommended remedial works to bring the installation in line with current regulations.

The project involved the removal of multiple outdated distribution boards and redundant electrical equipment, followed by the installation of a new modern distribution system. New circuits were installed and routed within surface-mounted containment to improve safety, organisation, and future maintainability.

As part of the upgrade, multiple dedicated supplies were installed for workshop machinery and equipment located both within the main workshop area and on the mezzanine level. These new circuits provided adequate load capacity, improved circuit separation, and reliable operation of industrial equipment throughout the premises.

All newly installed circuits were fully inspected, tested, and certified upon completion. Following completion of the remedial works, the Electrical Installation Condition Report was updated and issued as Satisfactory, providing the client with certification valid for a further five-year period for insurance and compliance purposes.
